Currently I add the route/address for a document using Autotext - how do I do it on Word 2007??

I think you do it via Quick Parts on the Insert menu.

Click Insert, then Quick Parts, then document property then chose the doc property you want to include.

I don't use this so might be wrong!!!

Or if you want it in the header/footer, you can select it from the header/footer menu

Is this what you want:
Insert > Quick Parts > Field > Filename then tick box on right that says 'add path to filename'
