It's for a college assignment and I cant work out how to do it. My fellow students (mainly age 17/18) all seem to have been able to do it but middle aged and then some Mckenzie, I can't!
Any help gratefully received.

TIA

Not an expert but when I need to copy something from a pdf file I highlight the whole document and copy and paste it onto a Word file. Then I am able to copy the part I want.

Does that make sense?

A PDF is, to all intents and purposes, a picture so if you create a pic box in Word, you should be able to drop it in.

  1. Get the picture in the PDF in the middle of your screen.

  2. Press 'Print Screen' (Prt Scr); next to scroll lock on my keyboard. This copies what you see on screen to the clipboard.

  3. In Word, put the cursor in the place you want the picture to be. Press Ctrl-V or selct Paste from the edit menu. You'll now have a picture of your PDF inside your word doc.

  4. Crop the picture down until you're happy with it.

what kelvarhead said. Definitely use the 'crop' tool though, it's on the picture toolbar.

There is a little button on the Adobe toolbar that lets you copy bits of the document as images.

thank very much everyone. Once the children are in bed I shall have another go at doing it.
