How do I change the cover on a mobile phone?

Want to give dd an old one of mine when she goes to secondary school... to make it more appealing I have been trying to find a cover/case in a girly colour. Because it is so old (ie a few years ) the only one I could find is one where you need to remove the existing cover and replace it with the new.

Has anyone done this before and how do I go about it without all the innards falling out?

I've done it to a Nokia 3310 - there's a piece on the back you push in, then one half of the cover slides up from the other.

The insides don't fall out apart from the keyboard which is a piece of soft plastic. As long as you put it back in the same way up, there's no problem!

You could probably find a guide to your phone on Google which would show how to do it.

I'm wondering if I'm actually brave enough to give it a go - dh wasn't! Do I need a small screwdriver?
