I'm struggling with TimeTree & might need a new shared calendar; Any help or suggestions?

We use TimeTree as a family calendar - each of us has several calendars (in my case work, side hustle, family stuff & meds - so 4)

We are 4 'people' so we can invite others to an event but if I copy something from one calendar to another it shows up twice on all calendars

So grandmas birthday party goes in both work and family, but also other people work too so we get a page of birthday entries

Unless I am doing it wrong? Can anyone talk me through it

I've just started using TimeTree and FamilyWall so following with interest. So far if I could merge the features it could make one good app!

I tried setting up different 'people' (work me, family me, admin me etc) but that doesn't work

Whats family wall?

We are 4 adults so we dont want each others crap but we do want shared events

Why not use Google Calendar - you can easily create shared calendars with that. We even invite our personal calendars from the shared calendar where it is something important.

Shared calendars can be displayed / not displayed as required.

So how would that work

A joint event appears on each calendar but is only shown once when calendars are shared?
