Bear with me, I'm a paid up Luddite. I want to change my mobile phone network because we've moved and I now struggle to get a decent signal. Anyway, DH bought me a new phone and Orange start up pack which works fine but I would like to transfer my old number over. Orange tell me I have to phone my old network and get a PACS (???) number and then they will transfer my old number over. However, my old network is One2one and I can't find a contact number for them. Does this network actually still exist or has it been taken over by someone else - I can't find an official website etc for it. Please help anyone because DH is threatening to take my lovely new shiny phone back to shop if I don't sort it out soon (and carrying 2 phones makes me look like a drug dealer I think)

One 2 One became T-Mobile a few years back. They have high street branches in most towns as far as I know and they should be able to organise you with a PAC number which will enable you to transfer your number across to the new network

Good luck!!!!

Sorry it's taken so long to come back (have discovered over last few months that toddlers mean very little time for MN) Thanks to you both for your info, how behind the times am I for not knowing about T-mobile!?
