I used to be able to import photos direct to my PC using my sandisk card, now I can't. What can the problem be?

What happens when you plug it in and what operating system do you have? Windows XP, Vista, 98 etc

I have vista and nothing happens when I plug in. When I put the SD in it whirrs asif it knows it is in there. A dialogue box used to open asking if I wanted to import - I have done it many times before, but now it does not work for soem reason.

I have just tried with the USB cable and that does not work either.

I have checked all my drives and devices are enabled. Am puzzled.

I've no experience with Vista so I can't help really, perhaps someone who has can comment. However if it doesn't show the card in my computer and/or devices then there's a good chance it's damaged.

In the meantime it would be useful if you could try it in someone elses computer.
