Hi, I am old enough not to know anything about the YouTube. I have no clue how to make this happen but I am constantly asked to post videos online about a language I learnt as a child. My own children have no interest but they do understand the language and learnt to read basics.
I know I need a laptop/ Mac book for this but which one do I need. Please help me out with any information and idea of how do I make this happen. Thanks

YouTube is sort of dying now..

I'd go with TikTok. Easier to navigate too and more chance of promoting it and getting views etc.

YouTube isn't dying for video sharing, it's still really active. But TikTok is used more for silly memes and funny stuff

You can have a YouTube channel using just iPad or phone even

You need to setup an account on YouTube then you register a channel name, then add some video's. It's quite simple

Thank you so much. I didn’t think about the TikTok. Does it have a channel or anything like it to make things easier.

It's dying for having subscribers and views. Tiktok is the most current and successful platform for video sharing etc. the stats suggest this online.

It really is dying.

TikTok you create a username and you gain followers. It's quite easy, a lot easier and deffo quicker than YouTube.
It's not all silly memes. There's thousands of fantastic creators and businesses on there.

Interesting, I only see silly things signposted, but I've not signed up to use it actively as I have a perception it's more for youngsters.

The things I'm interested in are still really very active on YouTube
