I have no sound when I try to watch video clips/ youtube. Any thoughts?

Also in control panel - Sounds and audio devices there is a mute option you can check

is the volume turned down on the actual you tube clip?

If there is no sound at all you might check the speaker cables are plugged in right. Some computers have two sets of holes for them round the back that both look correct.

Have you got sound at all or is it just when you try to play video clips? Can you play any stored music? have you had sound in the past?

Hi, thanks for your replies so far.I had to go out.
I can play music and the children have watched the I.T.V catch-up stuff and that is fine.
