Luckily, I also have a PC!! I was working on it today - doing an assignment on word - and did a quick surf on the net. The internet explorer wasn't responding and the standard message about ending unresponsive program came up, so i clicked on end now. Nothing happened, the internet explorer window didn't close, so i thought i would restart. This was three hours ago and it is still logging off. Can't do anything - tried clicking mouse, cntl-alt-delete etc. Have tried turning off at switch - no good. So i have now unplugged it and am waiting for the battery to go flat in the hope that that will turn it off so i can turn it on again and continue on assignment which i stupidly have not backed up anywhere. Any other suggestions?

There should be a reset button on the back.

If you can't find it, you could take the battery out, then put it back in again. Quicker than waiting for it to lose power the natural way...

hold the on off switch in for a few seconds - it will turn off in the end.
