Hotmail problem

Hi - hope somebody can help
My Outlook/Hotmail inbox is normally perfectly fine - organised into Focused and Other. Today I open it up and it's completely different. Everything is divided into alphabetical sections with all the conversations I've had under that topic eg

Trainline
All my previous messages I've had with them

It's very annoying as I want to see my most recent emails first and I'm scared I miss something vital as it's hidden away in this pile of stuff. I have not done anything to bring about theses changes.

Any advice?

I think you just need to click on the "received" column header and it will revert to sort by date.

If you go to settings in the top right of the blue banner there's a 'Layout' section which affects the grouping of items and the focus of the inbox. Maybe something's changed in there?

If you're in the Outlook app I think you have to go to 'View' and tweak what view you're using.

Thanks. The Outlook app is fine, it's just on my laptop
