I can no longer draw and drop emails in outlook - please help

I can no longer drag and drop e mails from the inbox of my Hotmail account into new e mails to add them as attachments. I am using the latest version of Outlook (new look) and I am on a Mac.

If I control and click on an e mail, I can get an option to forward the e mail as an attachment and I can then drag and drop that attachment but this is obviously far less convenient and much more difficult to order attachments.

I wonder if I have done something within outlook to lose this function.

Any help you can give is much appreciated.

You're not operating Outlook as Admin are you?

Also, does hotmail retain that functionality? Mum's hotmail isn't supported at all anymore.
