Refurbished ipad memory

I'm hoping to buy my daughter a refurbished ipad.

I was looking at an ipad mini 4 but wasn't sure if it would be too old.

I was also looking at an ipad 10th generation it had 32gb memory but wasn't sure if that would be enough. I think she'd mainly use the ipad for games and the internet.

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated

I don’t think 32gb would be enough, it gets to the point it can’t update games unless you start deleting apps to free up memory. All I do on my iPad is games, internet & MN, but my old 32gb iPad just didn’t have enough capacity.

@OwOwHolyCow thank you. That's really helpful to know.

I found an ipad mini 4 for a similar price with 128 gb memory. The thing that was worrying me is it's an older model. But my budget is limited so maybe an older ipad with more memory is better.

The older iPads are quite slow and don’t run all the apps. Just had to buy ds a new iPad as it wouldn’t run the apps he needed for school. It was a 7 year old iPad Air 2. Also the battery was on its last legs. It wasn’t a second hand iPad it was a family one.
My other dc has a hand me down iPad mini. Not sure which model and that’s only good for watching tv on now.
Just replaced it with the base model iPad that’s about £300

Thank you @Autumn1990 that's useful to know too. Ahhh I'm feeling out of my depth 😂

If you look at John Lewis they have all the models. The base model is 64gb.I generally reckon to get 7 years of heavy use from an iPad
The second hand ones aren’t cheap so are nearly as much as new one
