ZoneAlarm is the one (can't remember whether its is firewall or antivirus)...can't remember the name of hte other one I was recommended by my geeky friend...

Another vote for AVG here - I also use ZoneAlarm firewall & AdAware & Spybot anti-spyware

I downloaded a 3 month trial of Windows Live OneCare and loved it so much that I've just purchased a one year subscription for up to 3 computers for the bargain price of £19.99 from PC World

Windows Live Onecare

Do yourself a HUGE favour - get rid of Norton. Get Zone Alarm firewall and Avira Anti-Virus. Also have SuperAntiSpyware free edition - awful name, good detector.

In fact, it's worth paying a computer engineer to come and do a general service and, in the process, get rid of all the bits of Norton. It is very tenacious and will clog up your system for years after you have "removed" it with Add/Remove programs. Symantec products seem to embed themselves into your system and will not let go!

I couldn't use AVG (it blocked my email!) so downloaded Avast instead. Seems fine and no problems so far.

Uninstall Norton (it's huge and clunky) and go for AVG, Avast, ZoneAlarm, and install AdAware and Spybot too.
