Y9 DD14 wants to learn to code in Python as her DoE 'skill' - an hour a week for 6 months. Hopefully this will also set her up for coding when she takes the subject at GCSE.
She's done a little already using the Python Crash Course book but some of it is quite dry for a 14 year old. Someone recommended Code Club but it looks a bit limited. Someone else suggested W3Schools but it looks more like a dictionary or reference website.
Is there a good online teach yourself Python course that might fit the bill or does anyone have any tips on a 6 month long one hour a week project she could work on - book or website based?
