Printer for light use & good for photos

Hello all
Currently I have a Samsung colour laser printer which is great - reliable, cheap cartridges (I buy non samsung) but rubbish with photos, which I print a few times a month. I don't need any other functions. I've googled obviously but overwhelmed with choice.
Does anyone have any recommendations please? I bought laser after many years of rubbish and/or dried up inkjet printers but the photo quality is poor. I don't need amazing, just good.

There is loads of online photo printing crowds that will print and post them too you much cheaper and better quality then you can do yourself (cheaper if you print a good few at a time)

I like to have access to a printer as I do ad hoc cards for people and use it for postage labels etc. So sending stuff off wouldn't work for me

But an ecotank printer for around £250 but never let it run out of ink

Great for photos and very cheap to run
