Mobile payg wifi

Hi, what's a good option for a mobile WiFi portal please? Payg rather than monthly.

My dh is travelling for an unspecified length of time and he needs internet.

The phone isn't good enough, he needs actual WiFi.

Where will he be traveling to, and is he able to use his phone as a wifi hotspot?

Kent and London. I'm not sure how much data he has and the phone connection doesn't seem that great. He needs proper WiFi so he can use it all day to work.

Any WiFi router needs a network to connect to - having a wifi router won't help

When you say the phone isn't good enough do you mean your mobile signal isn't strong enough or he can't use his mobile phone as a hot spot or his data package isn't big enough ?

What provider is he with for mobile

Is he 5G ?

What is the data package and allowance

What phone does he have

I think you can just put a PAYG sim into the portable WiFi router - buy device separate

But make sure you get plenty of data

He needs a mifi which is basically a mobile router. Then he can just use a PAYG SIM. I just have one but some people have two to get best network coverage.
