Would this laptop run Sims 3?

Just bought this laptop and it runs Sims 4 and all the expansion packs. But I don’t really like Sims 4, and would prefer to get Sims 3 via Steam. I’ve run Sims 3 on laptops before and they were fine.

Impossible to know for sure, given that they don't actually tell you what processor it uses.....

After a bit of digging about however, I suspect it's a celeron N4020, which is barely fast enough to run a chrome browser on windows, so no, probably not good enough to run any games beyond minesweeper.

It ran Sims 4 with 12 expansion packs installed though?

Would you consider a refurbished high spec laptop

Celeron sounds like "sell her on", and its usually cpus that have failed all tests, cpu cant be changed, so you will eventully have to change the whole laptop

i3 and i5 are much better, but very expensive unless you but second hand

Above would be a brilliant laptop, probably the best you can get, it comes with a smally screen but you can hook it up to an old tv for gaming
