  1. In the view menu I think
  2. Not sure exactly what the problem is, but is there a "Not you" option or "sign in with another account"? ONce you've done that once it should show all HM users I think

  1. Does your laptop have a scroll function on the touchpad? - mine does -try running your finger down the right hand side. If it scrolls, then you can zoom by holding down ctrl at the same time just as you do with a mouse.

  2. Do you have the same version of Hotmail on your laptop as you do on the pc - I think the email name list only comes with Windows Live & possibly only if you have the full version, not the classic

Are you using IE? Which version? I have a view menu (File-Edit-View) and in that there's a text size option.

You may be able to enable the scroll function - go to control panel and click on the mouse icon. There will probably be a tab for your touchpad, with a button marked Settings/Advanced settings, or Properties. If you click on that you may find you have an option to enable virtual scrolling.

If not, you can make the webpage font size bigger by clicking on View on the menu bar & then Text Size.

Of course if you have IE 7 it's probably set up without the File-Edit-View menu bar, so you'll have to change the settings so it shows.

On the bar where the house icon for your home page is, there should be a little cog wheel marked Tools. Click on the arrow next to it & choose Menu Bar (you may have to go to Toolbars first & untick Lock Toolbars)

For IE, CTRL and + will increase font-size, CTRL and - will decrease it..
