HI there, not really a recommendation...but well, it's something I didn't take into consideration, lol...and that is find out the prices of different inks...
we have a great working CanonMP160...it is a fab printer...but teh ink cartridges are super expensive, sigh....

Don't get a Lexmark all in one. We got ours last summer and have had to return it twice to be fixed already.

I would recommend any HP printer that use the 363 series ink carts.. as these are only £6 per colour cart and around £12 for the black cart... you can also get a pack of all 6 carts and some photo paper for around £20-£25... and they do loads of prints

printer only

Or it's big brother

allinone joby

fyi

Cheap printer = expensive carts
Expensive printer = cheap carts

Interesting fact - by weight printing ink is the most expensive item on the planet... 1 gram of printer ink cost 3 x the price of 1 gram of gold... pointless but true...

... now ask if it is really worth the money.. that is a different story altogether!!!
