DVD - a picture of a movie camera and 1/2 on screen and it pauses slightly

What does this mean? Its on the top right of the screen and I only seem to get it with disney dvds

have you unlocked your dvd player to make it region free??.. also dies the DVD play after this?

Hi od, yes its unlocked and it does play its just a bit annoying, having this icon on the screen and not knowing what it means, and there is also a slight pause whenever it appears, it's not constantly on when these dvds are playing.

the icon means that the DVD is looking for the Macromedia protection chip on the DVD player before it plays... there is not much you can do about this as your player is unlocked....

Either live with it or lock your DVD player again..
