Facebook suggested no mutual

Hi! Bit of a random post but I was wondering if anyone knows why somebody who I have 0 mutual friends with has just shown up on my 'people you may know' ?

We have absolutely no friends in common and to put it bluntly it was the man who sexually abused me as a child I am concerned he has been snooping on my profile. My profile is 99% private and the account is now blocked obviously but it has just shaken me up massively and got me concerned he has been sat scrolling through my profile

Yeah it was reported and was a big court case when I was a little girl.
I don't suppose you know how to make my account private so people can't look and find my account by any chance?
I've had a look through my privacy settings and my content is private but I can't figure the rest out! I only have around 200 people on there who I genuinely know x

It just made me feel sick seeing his name after so long x

Delete your account, if you want to stay on FB then set up a new one using a variation on your name that won't link to you if searched. I know plenty for professional or personal reasons use different names on social media .

If you go into settings a privacy I'm sure you can select no for search engine of your name x

@GeorgeorRuth I think I'm best just deleting it all together at this point. Social media is a very weird place- I speak to approx 5 people every week and they are all close family and I have around 2 friends since having my daughter so it's not like i need to keep people updated on anything don't know why I bother really.
