Someone seems to have taken df's msn name. Please help?

I was having conversation this evening with df who then signed in in another name - over time because of problems with msn she has had a few different names.

It only came to light when she signed in in two different names and i started to speak to her in two different names when I said what was happening she said stupid msn I will only talk to you in one box and signed off.

Five mins later another person started having convo with the same person posing as df again. Whoever it is knows loads of details about me, her etc.

I have had some serious conversations with her about xh etc etc. I'm worried about what kind of information this person has about us and what they can do iwth it.

Have they hacked into df computer to get all this info?

What is going on because i'm well frieked out.

I am not particularly geeky, but if someone knew your friends msn name, and could guess her password? Is her password one that could be guessed, eg. child's name, pet name, old nickname, combination of birthdays/anniversaries...

I don't know but how do they know so much about us?

Have now found out that my dd's have been speaking to whoever this person is. They know loads about us like its dd birthday next week, that xh hasn't had his driving license etc.

If they have been speaking to your DDs then they might have the info from them.

Can you email msn and ask for advice?

my df is going to as it is her addy that they have been using.
