Free app for a rota?

I need to create a rota for a group activity and wonder if anyone can recommend a free app?

It's pretty niche, I used to do rotas at work and didn't find anything free that could manage the job.

Ended up using a a spreadsheet with lots of conditional formatting, VLookUPs and macros.
