Locked notes on iPhone - forgot password. Help!

It’s a document that I’ve been adding thoughts to for a few years now and I didn’t want anyone else to accidentally come across. I thought I could unlock it with my fingerprint.

I can’t!

The hint is: what is it? If I knew that I wouldn’t need a hint 🤬

Is there any other way to u lock it?

Can't you go on to the passwords bit on settings on your phone and find it there?

I should have added that I’ve only recently discovered the lock function.
