does it shuffle everything?
how can we even put them in the audiobook bit? i have tried on the get info bit renaming it as an audiobook but when selecting it from the ipod it doesnt show up in the audiobook folder.

where am i going wrong?

I remmber this one from a while back.. you need to change the file exstension (.m4a) to .m4b and then the system will recognise the file as an audiobook...

Remember to remove the file from iTunes first, replace the extenstion in Windows explorer and then add it back into the Audiobook section in iTunes again

Let me know if this works for you

just tested it and it works a treat on my iPod Touch so I guess this is still true..

ok, im not quite with all this,,
how do you change the file extension? i thought maybe when i loaded the cd in then i would be able to change it but cant see anywhere to do it.

is it easy and im missing it?

ok.. you need to open window explorer (not iTunes) and location the folder with the original music files (My Documents\My Music or similar)... once you find the original file it should look like

'little bo peep.m4a'

if you used iTunes to create it... all you need to do it click on the file once and then change the file to

'little bo peep.m4b'

and it then becomes an audiobook file.. if you find the files are in the format

'little bo peep.mp3'

then you will either have to recreate the files in iTunes or use a tool to convert the original file
