Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga on the Wii - 2nd remote won't work

We can't get the second player to drop in on Lego Star Wars. You're supposed to press + to get a second player to drop in, but the second remote won't work. It works fine on other games. I've tried resyncing it, but that didn't work either.

Any ideas anyone please?

Would you believe it - it actually worked!!!! Just spent about 30 mins (ahem - probably nearer to an hour ) running around being Anakin Skywalker whilst DS1 was Obi-Wan Kenobi (?sp)! Thank you littlelapin. Thank you, thank you, thank you. There are many reasons why I love MN and this is one of them!

As far as the actual game is concerned, I don't really have a lot to compare it to. My previous level of expertise tbh was Space Invaders and Pacman and I was rubbish at those. However, I'M LOVING IT! There are parts apparently when you wave the remote up and down to control the light sabre, but I've not done that yet. You use the buttons on the Wii remote to control the light sabre and jumping, and the nunchuck to move. There's a lot of figuring things out, I'm not explaining this very well, which I really like and takes it away from being just a blast 'em kind of game. As I said before though, don't know if that's very different from a lot of games. DS1 (age 6), who previously would get stressed playing games on Cbeebies if there was a timer involved, is really enjoying it too. DH likes it as well (when he gets a turn ) but I still find myself shouting directions at him - and yes, I'm still talking about the game!

Don't know how different it would be to the PC version as I haven't seen that but, all in all, I would recommend it.

Thanks again for your help.

jsgirl - you thrown R2D2 off a cliff yet? My two boys love doing it deliberately just for the sound he makes

Not yet. Will try that next time we play. DS1 likes making the little puffs of black smoke come out of him when you try to make him do something he can't! Mind you, he also calls R2D2 Arnold and C3PO Skelly. Gets very annoying after the 500th time in about 3 minutes!

I had C3P0 lose his leg on one sequence... poor thing hopped through the rest of the level!!
