Dr K's Brain Training..HELP!

ok so tell me (a complete novice at gaming)..the brain training we bought yesterday seems to consist of testing quick responses to maths and reading colours out aloud..!! is this what we paid £19 for????..or am I missing something??

Also, can it be used for kids?? It says 3+ yrs on the cover but I'm sure (if this is all it is) then my 6yr old dd will get bored..

Yep, that's it. YOu have to do it very day, then you get a date stamp and a new test as a reward.

When it asks if you can talk tell it you cant,we found the shouting to get voice reconised a bit harsh.

My 6 and 12 year olds are having huge fun with this at the moment - although the 6 year old is needing a lot of help. You get more stuff to do as you move through the game. Also, if you know someone else with a ds you can connect wirelessly and compete with each other.

the voice thing works beautifally if you are in a competely quiet room and you talk normally about 30cm away from the sensor

......so best just to say you can't talk lol

I struggle with the voice recognition bit regardless of the quietness of the house.

More you play the more you unlock.

But yes it is mainly answering quick fire questions - Brain Training 1 I found was quite maths based, a bit more so than the second one.

Second BT game has germ buster - which is a bit like Tetris. However - wonder if anyone can answer this query for me - can you ever unlock Germ Buster for a second person ont hesame game? I don't seem to be able to, only for the first player.
