Geeky stuff

Are there any super-douper sales on, where I can buy DH a computer to make him feel even more guilty about not buying me one?

'cos we always arranged that he would get what he wanted in the sales (maybe a new phone or MP3)

But I got nothing at all & want to make hime feel very a bit bad

So I want to buy him a very cheap computer just to rub it in a little - If I do well enough I will get jewellry

That means I will be lucky to get a jumper

here - not much there at the moment - but changes every day - so worth keeping an eye on over the next few days.

JL sale?

throckenholt · 26/12/2007 13:19

forgot to say - check the options stockrooms bit to see different types of computer - they list inspiron and dimension and laptops on different subgroups.

This is a pretty good price. I have an Acer and am really pleased with it.

Thanks everyone - I guess I'm on a hiding to nothing - I wanted really cheap

how cheap is really cheap ? - the inspiron desktop ones on teh site I linked to (I showed you the dimension ones which cost more - sorry !) start at £185 (probably naff though) - you can order on price by clicking on the price heading.

KatyMac · 26/12/2007 18:52

£185 - there weren't any at that price I must have missed it (probably sold)

KatyMac · 26/12/2007 18:53

They started at £376 when I looked

Now they are down to £260 - which is interesting

throckenholt · 26/12/2007 19:03

it changes quickly - but if you watch it for a few days you will see there are always more coming up. Keep an eye on it until you find something that fits your price range. I am not sure if it includes a screen - when I got one I didn't want a screen because I had one.

If nothing else it gives you something to compare other prices and system specs against.

by the way - I got one from there about 18 months ago and have had no problems with it all - hence me recommending it. I think it was someone on here who pointed me in that direction in the first place.

KatyMac · 26/12/2007 19:39

I will keep looking - it's the best price so far

KatyMac · 03/01/2008 19:57

I guess I have missed all the sales - I didn't seem to get round to it
