Smart TV- freeview play

I've just ordered my first full HD smart TV. It has streaming services, Internet, etc. I don't have an outdoor aerial (hence why this is my first TV) but wondered if I needed to get an indoor aerial to access freeview or if it will work through the Internet streaming?

Some smart TV's have free view built-in but most do not - you will most likely have a number of streaming apps so you can watch live programmes on the likes of BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub etc. You could always add a free view box if you really need live TV. Alternatively a streaming device like Amazon Fire TV (on offer at the moment for about £25) or Apple TV if your tv apps are insufficient.
