I am obviously dim but can't help dd train the dog. Though she now knows her name and "sit down".

The booklet says when the lightbulb sign come on tap it, then the clock counts down and you have 30secs or however long to teach the dog a new command. I understand that and we get to that bit.

But as the clock is ticking down the dog is just sitting there - so if we say "lie down" the dog doesn't lie down. Then a light bulb flashes saying the dog has understood our command and dd's voice is repeated back. But the dog doesn't lie down. What are we doing wrong?

Thanks, dd is getting very frustrated with it.

What you have to do is...

When the lightbulb comes on, if you want to teach it lie down for instance,

put the styleus on the screen and drag it in a downwards motion on the dog as if prompting it to 'lie down' then say 'lie down after a few times it should have lernt it.

Have a look at www.gamefaqs.com for detailed instructions. You need to use the stylus to position the dog when you command it, the dog won't understand sit down if you don't position it. You can also use any words you like for the command as long as you remeber what they do!
