printing from iphone

Could somebody help please. I have previously been able to print from my iphone to my photosmart HP printer. Today when I tried, I got a message on my phone to say the documents are preparing then nothing happens. The printer has printed off test documents fine. I have tried printing the same documents from an iPad and the same thing is happening. Both the phone and printer are connected to the wifi.

Turn it all off and on again

Press the connection or signal button on the printer and try again. On my HP it's like an antenna with waves on the sides, not sure how to explain it better. It normally works without that extra step, but sometimes I need to do it for it to work, no idea why.

Turn it all off and on again is good advice though, I'd do that first.
