Recommendations for family friendly Minecraft server?

Hi all
My DCs would love to play Minecraft with eg cousins / friends, but obv not with risk of meeting others who they don’t know in the game. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations for a safe, family friendly server so they can play together ?

Have you considered a realm? You pay monthly and then everyone invited can join even when the host is offline
