What are oyur specs in priority order - ease of use? decent zoom? sound quality? etc
we used t have a canon sureshot, with a huge zoom, and was very good, but only took 30 secs or so of film (this is going back a bit, sure prob better now) but good sound, great picture etc. Huge zoom meant pic was a bit wobbly when panning due to user inefficiency!
Also had a fuji which was good, with less zoom (was old and only small camera) but good basic.
Had a nikon which we loved for stills, but hated ofr film as mic picked up every little zoom adjustment so all you heard on the film was mechanical whirrings
now have an olympus mju - good little all rounder. Ok zoom, 7mp for stills, takes continuous film depending on memory card size (ours does up to 8 mins on an empty card, 'tis a loooong time) and fairly decent sound quality given the price (around £120? - outs is a year or so old)
