I sent an email to my ex, its the first one, and I am not totally sure I have the addy correct. Yet inthe past if the addy is incorrect, you normally get a delivery failure notification don't you?

yes, you get a delay notice if there are network issues. it doesn't mean it's the wrong address, although the address could also be wrong - but the server hasn't been able to find that out yet.

ah ok, its typicalthat its 'that one' to the ex

The receiving server can be acting up. The address could be wrong. There could be something wrong with the recipients account or inbox.

Hotmail has a lot of spamming problems, so hotmail emails are often rejected.
