Hi everyine

Dc love listen g to music, they have mp3 players but obviously it's not as straightforward to keep adding music in comparison to Spotify where they have hundreds of songs.

Dc are asking to listen to Spotify in bed on no school nights and are happy to have apis that block their phone. I've looked online but a bit overwhelmed with what is out there.

Can anyone recommend best way forward with thus?

Thanks Smile

Do they have iPhones? If so parental controls are built in.

Although as an alternative my younger children use an echo dot, you can usually get from £30.

They can download Spotify playlists to listen offline. They'd need to update that routinely of course to include new music but it shouldn't be a problem.

Yes Alexa speakers!

Alexa and set them a playlist

Thanks everyone, they have Huawei phones.

Get an Alexa and link it to your phone. Then it's as simple as 'Alexa, play songs by xxx on Spotify' or ask them to create a playlist to 'play kids playlist on Spotify'

I have 3 alexas and music all round my house, god knows where my phone is sometimes!

(plus you can check in with them to see what they're doing/listening to and what time they stop if you link the alexas to your own phone!)

My ds has an iPhone and we have the ability to shut the phone down between certain hours and only allow certain apps. So we allow Spotify and audible. I assume similar on android phones.

We also just have an Alexa. Kids listen to music or audible on it at night.
