A cheap laptop?

Can anyone give me any pointers toward a really cheap laptop? Will a cheap and cheerful chrimebook from currys be fine for just Internet browsing etc? I'd love to buy second hand but just wouldn't trust it with a laptop...

Think through how much typing you'll be doing. I have an Amazon Kindle, and it's fine for watching Netflix and web surfing, but typing on it is a pain.

If you'll type a lot, a chromebook would be great for your needs. If not, you could look at a tablet.

As pp says, it’s depends on how much typing you see yourself doing.
The Samsung 10” tablets are good kit.

You can buy Bluetooth keyboards to use with tablets if you want that physical typing feel.
