Google Family Link/Family Calendar

Please help!

I use a personal Google calendar on my ihine and have shared it with dh but now he wants a shared calendar that we can both edit.

I read that as we have Google Family link and are a family group with our 2 DDs this would mean we automatically have a family calendar created that should be the solution.

I'm the Family Manager and DH is just another parent, but the Family Calendar shows up on his account and in mine I have only my personal one.

Is there anyway we can sort this without throwing devices out of the window?

This shouldn't need to be too complicated involving family share etc... You just need to create different calendar folders on google account and then share with different google account holder, and give them appropriate permission like read only or being able to modify events. We have used this since 2008, and you can share multiple calendar folders (to distinguish different purposes).. Hope this helps
