Raspberry pi help

I'm thinking of getting DS a raspberry pi (he'll be 16 soon) but don't know where to start. Can anyone point me to any good beginner packages as I've just got confused looking at them. Thanks

Hey Maya, a basic starter pack will be a good place to start, there's a website called OKGO which is a UK based Pi supplier and I've bought a lot of stuff from there. A basic set up would be the pi, an SD card with pre loaded OS, power cable, a screen, a case, keyboard and mouse and a case. That would be an immediate set up that could be up and running rather quickly. Thankfully the add-ons like sensors and cameras are very reasonable.
