Having a debate about whether or not a 3rd category is needed in the sweet treats world. We have biscuits, such as rich tea, bourbon creams and hobnobs. Then we have cakes, such as carrot cake, Victoria sponge and a French fancy. Where, then, do we put tunnocks tea cakes, caramels macarons, and of course, jaffa cakes. Is it time for us, as a nation, to make a decision on whether we need to come up with a third option for those pesky sweet treats that don't conform to the 2 established norms....?
