Working from home and no internet 4G?

DS has a new flat and can't get internet installed for 2 weeks.
Any ideas please?
He's looking at 4g data as a temporary measure.
He works from home, often on a VPN and on Teams quite a lot. We are struggling to estimate what his data usage might be.
Assuming he uses audio only on Teams does it make a difference? Also does everyone have to have video off? (they don't usually have video on).

He's staying with us temporarily but paying rent on this flat and can't get any internet provider to set it up before 14th Jan.

I use 4G full time. Spend a lot of each day on video calls and use about 80GB/month.

Works well!

I get better speeds using 4G than lots of my colleagues get with normal broadband. Yes, you will use less data for voice only, but data's pretty cheap (if you buy it in advance).

Thanks for your replies. Do you tether from a phone or buy it separately? Its only for a couple of weeks so not worth getting a contract. He has a giffgaff sim in his phone and could get an 80g goody bag.

Oops sorry! I tether to my phone 👍
