How to listen to music now Google play music is defunct?

Google have stopped Google.play music working so I need a new way to listen to my running playlist. My Samsung files allows me to listen to one song at a time. No shuffle option.

Also, Google are graciously saying I can download the music I've paid for but I have no idea how to do it.

I use Spotify, always have done though

Spotify isn't free though is it. I can't just buy odd tracks for my phone that way.
I can't afford a monthly subscription.

There is a free Spotify but it's limited to what you can do and I think there's ads.

I believe there is still a free version, although I do pay for mine. With the free once you get adverts every so often, maybe every 3 or 4 songs. I can't remember exactly

Some ways to download here:

The simplest thing to do is to transfer across to YouTube music

Sadly, it's not as good as Play Music yet, but is gradually improving.

Do you have Amazon prime? That has a good but limited selection of music. Depending on what you want that may give you better value for your £8 than a spotify as you get free delivery and tv programs as well.

I use blackplayer.

I don't have Amazon prime either because Bezos Blush.

I always liked paying 99p for a track and keeping it.
