iPhone playing up - charge, apps not working etc

Hi,

Yesterday morning I woke up and it looked like my phone had done something overnight.

Most of my apps had been moved to the cloud - they had the cloud icon underneath.

My apps were either very slow to load or wouldnt open at all.

My phone was very quick to drain battery and very slow to charge - in fact I went to bed last night with it fully charged and woke to it being 1%. The Phone also feels warm to touch

Also, it appeared to be struggling to get a signal, saying I had no service in places I normally would (at home)

Up until yesterday it was a great phone, no issues with storage or battery problems. It's due an update which I will do at some point. The phone is about 18 months old.

Any ideas? I've had a google but can't seem to find anything that would cause all of those issues...?!

The symptoms you describe suggest that the processor is working very hard. Have you tried turning the phone off, leaving it for a while then turning it on again? That might sort out the problem.

It seems to be abit intermittent, one minute working, the next not. Very strange

As an update in case anyone has the same issue as me..

It needed an update! Once I updated to the latest iOS I was then able to update my apps and it worked!
