OK, phone is full to the brim & falling apart. I'm due an upgrade. How do you all save all your pics & videos? I'm aware I've prob lost loads of my previous ones cos they're stored in some 'cloud' which I'll inevitably forget the PW for....I do have some on a a micro SD card. But; what to do with this?? What do you all do when you change phone or just run out of space?

When I last changed phone the new phone came with a connector that allowed me to connect it to my old phone. It then transferred everything automatically.

On previous phone changes I plugged the old phone in to my PC, backed it up to my PC then plugged the new phone in to my PC and restored the data onto it.

Assuming you have a pc? I would load onto pc the photos and videos, then transfer to a memory stick (or two), so unlikely to lose them should there be a problem with pc or phone. Or if you haven't got a pc, save to sd card, get biggest memory poss and then replace when full and save full one. If you haven't got a pc now you may do in future. There is a stick or holder you can get that slots sd card in to then fit onto pc.

You can get the google photos app from the play store and upload all your photos to that or buy a bigger micro sd card and put them on that.
If your new phone will be a samsung they have an app called 'smart switch' which transfers everything -magically- from old phone to new.
I have an old S8, and can't wait til CV is over and I can get a new phone. Hope that helps
