free web domain?

Im thinking of building a website, but am not sure on how to get a web domain. Can any of you lovely lovely people help me please pwetty pwease

There are 2 things to do:

1. Register a domain. THis involves paying somebody (the registrar) an amount of money for a year's use of the domain.
2. Set up a host - this involves putting your web pages onto a server and associating the name of your domain with the address of that server.

These days you can usually do both through the same company, and your ISP may well provide this service. Google for "domain hosting uk", or have a hunt around your ISPs web site.

Look to pay about 10 pounds a year for the domain, and the same again for the hosting.

I think they charge you, i was looking for a free web domain as i get bored easily lol thanks anyway
