organising to do list - Tick tick? on the phone, tasks,

i have an app on the phone which syncs to desktop - Tick Tick. It is still messy, still forgetting to do tasks etc. do people have a reliable system?

I think it depends on what you are using it with. Eg do you spend a lot of time in gmail, or other, and want to be able to add tasks from there, or are you very visual and want a kind of Trello/ pinboard layout.

Do you need to share or assign tasks to anyone else?

it is just for me, not sharing. i simetimes allocate from gmail, mostly from my head,

Massive fan of Trello.

It is free and really easy to use.

You can link from various devices so I often add things on my phone when out and about or when they pop into my head.

I have different sections on it too. Ie. Work, general home stuff, kids stuff etc. I am even making meal lists and shopping lists to limit trips out of the house and hence saving money and little to no waste.

I could not manage without it.
