They are going to people, just not getting copies in my sent mail box?
Why?
And stop it, please.

Are you using hotmail? If you are I think you have to set it up to save sent messages.

funnypeculiar · 13/09/2007 19:26

nope - just normal mail (on mac)

either they are stuck in your OUTBOX or perhaps you have inadvertently flicked the headers so they are not sorted by date as per usual

but I don't really know about MACS, they scare me

phatcat · 13/09/2007 19:33

bcc them to yourself until you work out why. check global properties etc., it's most likely an option you've accidentally selected / deselected in passing.

funnypeculiar · 13/09/2007 19:39

m ccing. But tis an arse & my inbox is rapidly filling up.
They're not in my outbox (are reaching recipients)
And macs are LOVELY mp, honest (have just had outstanding service from Applecare...

Where's global properties, phatcat? Have checked details in accounts....

I'm not an IT specialist but I have suddenly come on line! I'm afraid I only know how to sort it in Outlook - do you use that on Mac? You go to Tools, Options, click on Email Options and there is an option to tick 'Save copies of messages in sent items folder'.

I love Macs btw but I'm not allowed to have one

funnypeculiar · 13/09/2007 22:08

Damn, no, no 'tools' option here - thanks anyway
