Best apps for virtual coffee and drinks meet ups?

So I think that on FaceTime I can meet up with 3/4 people? Are there any other apps that work well for meeting up with people? Also, which are those that are fairly safe or the kids to use (i.e. that others can't invite "strangers' into the conversation?

Zoom. You can have up to 100 people for 45 mins at a time for free.

Google Hangouts is installed on most Android phones. It is available free in the Play Store for those devices that haven't got it. It is also available free for iPhone. It supports group calls for up to 150 people with no time limit free of charge.

Skype is available free for Android and iPhone. It supports group calls for up to 50 people (some sources say 25 but I understand this was doubled last year) with no time limit free of charge.

Just to add, my understanding is that both apps are safe for children provided you put the right settings in place.
