Are you using a laptop keypad by any chance ?

RickyTigerfeetson · 12/09/2007 15:32

that happens to me when on my laptop

thought it was the laptop tbh... are other people having the same problem???

imagineafullnightsleep · 12/09/2007 16:10

Ricky - this is quite common with laptio key pads. You've probably knocked the function key on - which changes your keypad ! Do the keys on your keypad (look at the letter "L" e.g.) have smaller letter or symbols also on them (usually in a different colour) ? If they do, you probably just need to press the FN key (usually bottom left hand side of a laptop keypad) at the same as pressing "Scroll Lock" (actually - I'm working from memory here - it might not be scroll lock - but it is one of the buttoms up there! Sorry - am using a normal keyboard at the moment - so can't remember 100% without looking at it !)

oooh thanks!

am at work atm (on a desktop) but will have a look at it when I get home

You and me both ! I'll have a look again tonight when I get home (actually, once the bedtime routine etc. is done !) and double check for you.
