Pipex very good. had no problems with them. They talked me through setting up my wireless, when i hadn't got it from them.

I like the sound of Pipex, they do a package with phone calls as well, which we had with Tiscali.

cable will always be fasest

Sadly live close to the middle of nowhere - can barely get 1MB broadband here, we're at the end of the line apparently. No cable for us!

Looks like Tiscali or Pipex I think, as you get the free calls as well.

Pipex are now part of Tiscali. I'm a bit wary of Tiscali to be honest- they do this thing about sending out bills for 'add-on services' and see who pays and who queries! They (Tiscali) have just run away from a demand of money (only 6 quid!) from my mother on my deceased father's broadband account which he'd cancelled years previously- but the demand came complete with threats of debt collectors! I phoned to ask what it was all about and they more or less said Sorry! Forget it! No problem!

a bit of a round up.

Thanks for that. Im intrigued that Pipex are part of Tiscali - Id heard that Pipex had good customer support, but I know how bad Tiscali can be from experience!

We use Plus.net and have done for about three years. We've had excellent customer support and service from them, including through two house moves. www.plus.net/index.html?pn_session=4aa315fa9d215ea721e8ad70fb3e4e5f
