it keeps typing the letter c by itself!! why?!

and missing it out when its meant to be there too

If that doesn't shift it try a small brush (toothbrush/paintbrush) to dislodge and then hoover again.

If that doesn't help then I'm stumped.

You should be able to remove the key by just pulling it off. It might give you a better idea of what is happening.

Is it a wireless keyboard? Sometimes they act oddly when the batteries are low or the button underneath needs resetting

its on a laptop.
